Cabinet refinishing is one of the hottest trends in the industry.
When looking to upgrade your kitchen, bookcase or shelves, painting can provide a long lasting and cost effective option that will save money, time, and hassle on re-doing or refacing your cabinets. We follow the right process from start to finish, making sure that we prepare, clean, and spray your cabinets to perfection.
Here are the key steps and considerations involved in cabinet refinishing:
Remove doors and drawers and label numerically.
Covering the interior part of the cabinets, floors, walls, and ceilings to prevent any overspray on surfaces not getting painted.
We will create a spray booth in your garage where drawers and doors will be sprayed.
Clean doors, drawers, and frames with thinner to remove any stain from food or water.
Light sand doors, drawers, and frames to create a smooth surface.
Spray oil based primer to block stains, create excellent adhesion and durability for the topcoat.
After the primer dries, we light sand again and apply two coats of the best performing cabinetry paint in the market.
When the paint dries, we put doors and drawers back in place, and make sure every surface is clean.
