Texture removal

This is the first step we will work on when arriving at your house and it includes covering flooring with builders paper or drop cloths of the rooms involved, and covering any furniture, walls, light fixtures or fans with painters plastic.

Depending on the texture type, we use different procedures, it can either be mist with water and scraped off or sanded down with a special sanding machine.

Through this technique we can achieve a smooth leveled ceiling that provides an excellent base for the primer and paint. To get the best results we apply two skim coats and sand between coats.

Once the ceiling is smooth, we apply a primer coat to the whole ceiling that helps to get an uniform paint absorption and color. Always applying two coats of paint as a manufacturer’s recommendation.

Once all the painting process is completed we proceed with the clean-up phase, removing builders’ paper, plastic, sweeping your floors, vacuuming the carpet, and putting all furniture back in place. condition of your wall, and your personal preference.
